Stronger Together Now is proud to present The Pulse. Our new community space located on 4th Street in the heart of DTSB. Collabs with many folks allow for a unique and eclectic mix of offerings including yoga & tea, self-defense, automotive classes, Indigenous history, open mic nights, coffee raves, and album listening parties. STN operates out of the space to continue its community outreach, and provide events, programs, and offerings to the public.

The Pulse Grand Opening is 5/25/25!
Welcome home, STN 🏠 Five years in the making & we happily arrive in a space that allows our fullest growth.
STN began as a grassroots org in the fall of 2020, on the heels of a summer of protesting & deep in the pandemic. For the first year, hikes, self-defense classes, and underground events were created to support street vendors.
By 2021 our Kids Sports Bubble paved the way for safe interactive play as kids were tested for COVID prior to meetups at local parks. As the world began opening back up, events became more public, with a free market at its core, open mics, small festival vibes, live music, free dance lessons, dance cyphers, CPR demos, pet adoptions, Soulfood competitions, Juneteenth festivals, La Mas festival, games, giveaways, artist showcases, book drives, mutual aid, & fortifying community through the support of other nonprofits/service orgs and their robust program offerings.
In 2024 STN began supporting local school districts via tutoring, mentorship, sports, special events, & enrichment programs. These contracts allowed us to hire a team of fifteen and pay ourselves for the first time in four years. It also paved way for acquiring a community space with the help of David from @realicorerealestate. Renovations began in February 2025.
Muralist @sauceypasta was brought on to create a vision for The Pulse. Activists that inspired STN were shared and 14 were selected for the final mural. The mural was paid for by the STN academic revenue and represents the legacy we uphold.
As we reflect on the last five years, we want to share gratitude for anyone who has ever been a part of our organization, no matter the capacity. We have learned so much from all of you. STN has a better understanding our vision and values as a result. We apologize for any harm we may have cause along the way as we navigated this learning space. We are still learning, and hope the right supports are in place to be more strategic & aligned.
